Innovative Solutions

Daily Farm Corp was established in 2018, initially operating our first farm at 29862 88 Avenue in Langley. However, due to the considerable distance, promoting our environmentally friendly farm concept proved challenging. Consequently, four years ago, we made the strategic decision to relocate our operations closer to the city. In that same year, we acquired a farm at 7200 No 5 Road in Richmond to embark on an innovative agricultural project involving the co-culture of fish and vegetables, aligning with our commitment to advancing agriculture through technology while prioritizing environmental sustainability.

By 2021, we had secured the necessary project license from the municipal government. Nevertheless, as the farmland falls under the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR), each phase of our endeavor demanded thorough scrutiny and approval from both provincial and municipal authorities. Compounded by the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, our project faced significant delays, leading to substantial financial setbacks.

To optimize our equipment investments, the company opted to transfer the equipment to a more straightforward municipal government farmland at 13941 Reichenbach Rd in Pitt Meadows earlier this year to initiate our high-tech agricultural initiative. Here, we established a cutting-edge agricultural park utilizing geothermal heat for insulation and deploying transparent glass embedded with calcium-titanium solar panels for sustainable power generation, enabling us to produce zero-emission agricultural goods.

In our greenhouse crop production, temperature regulation stands out as a primary cost factor. Consequently, we sought approval from the local municipal government for our high-tech agricultural project at Pitt Meadows Farm, aiming to enhance the energy efficiency and eco-friendliness of our greenhouse cultivation practices.
